St Ishmaels War Memorial Sculpture: engineering for sculpture

Engineering for sculpture is always interesting and rewarding, so we were delighted when our repeat collaborator and highly regarded sculptor Howard Bowcott asked us to assist with the structural design of the new war memorial in St Ishmaels, Pembrokeshire. The construction will be made of old red sandstone and will have Welsh slate incorporated into the design as a background for the names of the fallen to be etched onto. Timber has been chosen for the ancillary structures of the bollards.
