The Lockies: pre-fabricated house system

This eight-bungalow residential project was the first use of Osco Home’s pre-fabricated house system. It was created using a series of timber frame panels that were constructed within a prison environment, offering skills and work-based knowledge to inmates to prepare them for employment on release. The scheme introduced a number of new units in the Mill Street area of Wakefield.
