Our approach to transportation and public realm design is to consider all forms of movement and plan the movement through a space so that it is sustainable and efficient, and most importantly allows the place to operate and grow. We are not highway engineers and do not therefore focus on the flow of vehicles before that of cyclists or pedestrians.
We believe that pedestrians and people create great places, not lots of cars, although we ensure cars are accommodated as they are an important part of our movement patterns. They simply do not need to dictate the nature and activities that should take place in our streets and squares.
Our experience as practitioners means we not only have great ideas but we have the experience to deliver them in our towns and cities.
