R Vint Engineering Limited developed the concept and scheme design for the refurbishment and conversion of this 1890’s steel frame industrial building to a create a 95 bed hotel. Introducing an additional two storeys of hotel accommodation in timber frame via a new transfer deck would enable the generation of 18 rooms on the existing roof without having to alter the substructure of the original building.
